Preparing our Home for Fall – Pruning & Trimming
Fall is a beautiful time of year as the leaves change change colour. But it also means that winter is close behind. Our family is going to be doing some maintenance around the house to get is ready for fall & winter, with some tips from Canadian Tire.
The first step will be pruning and trimming our trees and shrubs to protect them, and our home.
We’ll be cutting any broken or diseased branches. We don’t want them to fall on the house or walkways when they freeze or become heavy with snow. My husband will be taking care of the larger branches, while I’ll be taking care of the shrubs and small trees.
