Spending time outside in the summer is a given. There are so many different things to do from swimming to camping to BBQing and more. Did you know that July 15th is National Get Outside Day?
Coleman invites Canadians to put down that TV remote and take the family outside on National Get Outside Day. Getting outside reminds us exactly why we love our Canada, the vast natural beauty, and diversity of our Canadian landscape. Every province has something amazing to offer and discover.
Many Canadians actually can’t find the time in their busy schedules to take it all in and just enjoy the beauty of Canadian nature. Sadly, Coleman Canada discovered that nearly 2/3 Canadians spend fewer than 2 hours per week just being outside doing recreational activities.
It’s time to get outside!
Need some suggestions on what you can do on Get Outside Day? Check these out!
How about Camping? Pack up the family and pitch a tent for a weekend of swimming and campfire s’mores!
How about Cooking? Everyone loves a good get-together with some good old-fashioned bbq cooking! Make sure your grill is top notch!
Fishing anyone? A favourite summer sport among many, also a great way to bond as a family. Just make sure it’s catch and release!
Plan a nice stacation if you don’t want to travel or just can’t book the time off to get away. It’s easy to have a relaxing time right in your own back yard.
For the more adventurous type people, water sports are always fun! Canoeing, Kayaking, Rafting and more!
